Rally for Cross Roads 2023
Join us for the 9th Annual Rally for Cross Roads! The Rally for Cross Roads is an annual fundraising event for the Cross Roads Annual Fund that is fun for all ages. This year, we are excited to combine previous events and host an on-site run/walk race along with an afternoon of activities, including a volleyball game, to have double the fun as we raise funds to support camp.
On Saturday October 7, lace up your running (or walking!) shoes to take part in the Rally for Cross Roads Run/Walk. All ages and abilities are invited to participate. You can sign up to compete in the 5K race to earn a prize, or for the family friendly 2k run/walk.
You are invited to come to Cross Roads to race on-site, or participate by running wherever you live! Please see below for the on-site schedule of events, which will include a worship service and afternoon of fun after the race. If you want to come to camp to help cheer on the runners, please register as part of the "Cheer Squad" so that we know you are coming.
Race Shirts (optional)
We have partnered with our friends at Bonfire again to create some fun race shirts. These are optional and can be added to your order during registration. Short sleeve are $19.00 and long sleeve are $25.00.
Shirt deadline is September 10th, register soon to guarantee yourself a shirt! We can not ship these so you must be in person to pick them up at camp.
How to Participate - On-Site Event
1. Register to Race or Join the Cheer Squad
Choose either the on-site 5K or 2K distance when you register. All ages are invited to participate! You can also join or create a team when you register. If you would like to come to camp on the day of the event, please register as part of the "Cheer Squad" so that we know you are coming!
2. Set a Fundraising Goal
When you register yourself, a fundraising page will automatically be created for you. You can share your link and recruit sponsors to help meet your fundraising goal! Friends and family can donate directly on your “participant” page here or send a check to Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center, 29 Pleasant Grove Road, Port Murray, NJ 07865.
$560 subsidizes the cost of one week of camp for a camper!
$250 would pay a staff member’s salary for one week of work!
$100 is the cost for one participant at a weekend retreat!
$75 can provide meals for one camper for one week of camp!
$30 provides sports equiptment for a camper!
Your registration fee will also go directly to supporting Cross Roads and helping you meet your goal.
The individual who raises the most money by 3 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, October 7th will receive one week of camp to be used or gifted!
3. Race Day
We look forward to seeing you at camp on Saturday, October 7th if you registered to join us in person! We will send out additional details via email ahead of the event, but the general schedule of the day will look like this:
10:00 am Registration
10:30 a.m. 5K/2k Begins
12 p.m. Lunch

4. Once you have completed your race distance come back here and post your time!
Upload results after your event:Once you have completed your race distance come back on this site and upload your results.
CLICK HERE to go to the results page, then select the results for your distance (5k, 2k). The ItsYourRace results page for your distance will appear. You have until Saturday October 8th at 11:59 pm to submit your race time.
Find your name in the results for your distance. With you name you will see an "Update Time" button. Click "Update Time".
If you are not currently logged into ItsYourRace, a login window will appear. Log in using your ItsYourRace user id (probably your email address) and password. Can't remember ? Click "Forgot Your Password" to reset.
Enter your time and click the "Save Your Time" button. That's it! You can also print off your finisher certificate here.
Times are submitted for fun, there are no prizes given out this year.
For the 5k race, the top times will earn a special Cross Roads prize!
